Notes without a system
A notebook can be useful before it becomes an archive.
I used to think every note needed a destination. It should belong to a project, carry a tag, and point toward a future use. That expectation made capture feel like filing.
Now I let many notes remain local to the moment that produced them. Some become sentences. Some become plans. Most simply show me what I was looking at.
A system should make remembering easier, not make noticing harder.
